More often than not, I'm wearing flats & just like my high heels, they'd better be comfortable! Now, boat shoes have been all the rage this season when it comes to casual footwear, but I haven't been the biggest fan until I spotted these sand-coloured canvas & leopard print shoes from LAMO Footwear, called “Cruiser“.
Yes, call me crazy, but I find this mule/boot with its incredibly tall shaft highly appealing. Leave it to Alexander Wang to make any shoe or fashion product “cool”, no matter how preposterous the design.

I must exempt from my previous statement the atrocities that I blogged about here & here, for which I have yet to & will likely never, EVER forgive him.
If you follow @ShoeTease on Instagram, you know that I'm an overly enthusiastic Winners shopper. I love the scour the racks of discounted brand & designer merch for that special find, sans pesky sales folk hovering around. That being said, there are many people who absolutely abhor this type of store & would prefer a curated little shop where they can whisk in & out of in the span of 15 minutes. I presume these are the people who dislike perusing vintage stores & shopping at Joe Fresh.
I'm quite open about my little shoe “problem” & in addition to my Gap denim addiction (which I've talked about here), I have a thing for Winners shoes. That's where I found my latest pair of sneakers. Brand: Bucketfeet. Ever heard of them? Don't worry; neither had I.
Let's talk about nude heels (& eventually the most comfortable nude heels too) shall we? “Nude” shoes are a closet essential, packed full of fashion benefits! I mean, what do these shoes not work with, really?! From boardroom attire, casual ensembles & even a cocktail party or two, nude heels will generally work with any clothing, season & place (and not to mention, a refreshing change from boring ‘ol jet-black)!
Nothing beats a pretty outfit with the comfort of loungewear, which is why I love this heather grey with white lace insert crop top & stretchy skirt from Zara so much. With its sweatpants-like jersey material, you can actually walk town feeling like you're in your pjs, but looking cute doing so!
When it comes to Alexander McQueen, I say please. I say thank you. I say, give it to me NOW. But with respect to these multi-buckled “Maya” platform sandals from the Spring 2014 collection, I will politely refuse. Although I do feel bad about dismissing a design from a late, great fashion designer's namesake line, I expect Lee may actually agree with me on this one (not to mention the price would surely have him rolling in his grave).
