Get Footwear-inspired with Rose Quartz Shoes
Rose Quartz is a fantastic hue that makes up half of Pantone’s colors of the year for 2016. This is pretty novel as it’s a first ever for the company, known to announce only 1 shade per year.
And why not partake in this pink-tastic fashion trend with Pantone inspired blushing shoes!? Check out my take on the color trend & a few favorite heels, sneakers, shoes & boots in stores now, after the jump!

Although beautiful in combination with its sister shade, Serenity, Rose Quartz holds well on its own as a subtle shade of pink that gives any fashion item a flirty, whimsical feel. It’s described as less “whimpy” than a baby pink; not quite it’s not quite a blush or nude either. It’s definitely not your average pale pink!
It’s a soft shade of pink with a touch of beige, creating a slightly warmer & toned-down pink. The best way to describe it would be a demure bubble gum pink with a touch of “nude” with an sprinkle of peach. Which, of course, perfectly compliments its cooler counterpart Serenity!
The Rose Quartz Shoes Guide
But let’s get to the shoes, shall well!? Yes, many a luxury designer label & high street brand have delved into the trend specifically for footwear (or maybe they already had & just got lucky!). But as everyone knows, there’s no better way to indulge in fashionable color trends than via your shoes!
Valentino Garavani’s high heel heels & flats are the epitome of a designer who has literally color matched their shoes styles to the physical Pantone swatch. You’ll find beautiful examples of Rose Quartz colored women’s shoes in most of Valentino’s collection, but Tod’s, Saint Laurent & many others have created near perfect rose-hue’d Pantone trend inspired shoes.
