Style Narcissism – Fire Engine Red Stilettos & Vintage Versace

A few weeks back, I posted about how much I wanted Zara‘s red leather platform stilettos & low and behold, I got 'em! Immensely high, yet not as difficult to walk in as I imagined, these are so fiery bright that no one is bound to miss them! Really, who needs more accessories, when you've got shiny fire-engine red stilettos on your feet?!

Although I've heard (and personally felt) the excruciating pain that many Zara shoes tend to give, I was surprised to discover the great comfort level of these heels. I bet the slight padding & the towering platform, to aid in the stabilizing department, have a part in it! The only challenge in wearing such high platformed & loud-colored heels, is the propensity to potentially look like a skanky ho prostitute. And I'm not talking the high-end variety either! In order to avoid looking a little, uhm, desperate I'd suggest avoiding mini skirts & mini dresses with this type of stiletto. Or just add your own version of a chipmunk face to eliminate all potential overt sexiness; as I have (see 2 pics below!).

But if looking a little cheapish is what you're aiming for, well, the shorter the skirt the better! Extra points for quasi-erupting cleavage-baring tops 😉
