I love Viktor & Rolf, I really do. The forward-thinking design duo create a style of fashion & footwear that is both eccentric & beautiful. Well, usually beautiful.
I'm rather taken aback by these leather-slabbed ribbon mules from V&R's Spring 2012 collection. When & where could you possibly wear them? But the more pressing question seems to be: why would you ever wear them?
It might only be me, but these shoes remind me of luncheon meat, circa my 1980s grade-school years. But then again, maybe I'm just hungry for nostalgia.

These are some of the worst shoes you've had on Freakshoe Friday in a while. I just threw out a shower cap that color & texture when I was moving this weekend...it looks like they pulled it out of the trash & made it into THESE. AHHHH!!

I wold have never thought lunch meat but, now I am looking at them like "is that ham?" haha. I don't hate them. It will be interesting to see how they look when they are on the red carpet.
