I was on the lookout for a style-friendly, easy to slip on/off (aka 3rd trimester belly-friendly!) boots or shoes with some punch & found my perfect match in a Strategia Spring 2012 pair from Holt Renfrew in Toronto, Canada. Not only are these comfortable, but they’re beautifully made of the softest distressed leather ever. Ok, maybe not “ever”, as in the softest ever known to man, but it is the butteriest leather my hands have come across in a while!
And with their gorgeous grey shade & detachable leather/chain detail, these are the perfect down time, scurrying-around-any-Canadian-city boots. You know, when there isn’t too much snow kicking around!

Style Narcissism – Flurries & Mini Sheep on your Feet?!

I came across the Canadian-based Flurries Sheepskin site before the holidays via a Twitter introduction & fell in love with their adorable little squiggly sheep print rain/winter hybrid boots! When I just had to Tweet about them, the awesome people at Flurries sent me a pair & I couldn’t resist keeping the utter cuteness to myself!
However, aside from simply being cute, the lush sheepskin lining will keep your feet fuzzy & warm and the rubber exterior will surely keep you dry. Perfect for the freezing-to-rain weather we’ve been subjected to recently in Toronto!

These Kelsi Dagger “Huette” leopard print ankle boots definitely reigned supreme on my most anticipated shoe arrivals list this month! Straight from the fab folks at Kelsi Dagger, to moi, these 4.5 inch fabulously stylish wedges are a shoe girl’s dream come true. I mean, who doesn’t like a sleek, ungarish & always fashionable leopard print heels with a wicked shape to give one’s legs that extra mile? The soft suede, great outsole grip & two-tone color don’t do any harm either 
Most original way to style these? Walk away from the usual black leggings & pair them with a contrasting print or sheer stocking. I’m partial to charcoal & grey myself!

On the lookout for great winter boots usually more often than on the lookout for fabulous heels (yes, people, don’t knock me, me lives in Canada!), I was so happy to be sent a cute Crocs style for review that wasn’t part of the a hideous cold weather keep-me-warm-at-any-cost, winter boot breed.
Wear ‘em up or wear ‘em down, these “Berryessa Buckle” versatile warm, fun & fuzzy boots are not only comfortable (arch support anyone?!) but are also as light as a feather. When walking even just a few feet in deep, dense snow (people from the North will sympathize with me here!) it doesn’t get any more uncomfortable than feeling like you’re wearing bricks on your feet, dragging you deeper into the cold white stuff. So happy be me for the supple suede & “Croslite” technology lightness!
So with a cute buckle detail & espresso/mushroom two-tone color, you get a boot that feels like wearing teddy-bears on your feet. I’m seriously relishing my cute, wearable & can’t believe it’s a Crocs boots! Also available in a stylish black, for those of you so inclined
