Quiet Luxury in Stylish Winter Boots (Warm & Waterproof!)

Quiet Luxury in Stylish Winter Boots (Warm & Waterproof!)

One of my greatest shoe scores ever are definitely these waterproof Chelsea snow boots. Lined with Australian sheepskin and cozy as can be, these stylish winter boots named “Ellin” have given new life to my winter wardrobe. (Translation: I don't look like a winter slob anymore!).

Winterized Chelsea Snow Boots: c/o EMU Australia. Camel Coat: c/o Davis Project. Cashmere Sweater: Le Kooples. Jeans: Zara. Mock Croc Purse: c/o Nine West (old). Pom pom clip: Pombons

Just to give you an idea of how warm they are, I wore these boots without socks while photographing this post on a chilly day & my toes were kept warm for a good 30 mins!  I love how they pair with leggings & skinny jeans (my favorite clothing bottoms for winter) and skirts so well.

Camel Coat - Stylish Winter Boots

Structured and chic, a solid black pair of Chelsea boots are a great staple to have in your shoe closet. Even more so when these stylish boots are a masked winter boot!

Obviously, when the snow reaches my knees, I'll opt for higher boots, but these ones are fabulous on days when snow isn't high & temperatures are anything but. And luckily, this has been our Canadian winter, 2017 edition!

These almond toe boots have a lovely block heel & track sole that grip just like a rugged winter boot would, on ice and salt-covered roads.

Whenever I tell friends that these are, in fact, weather proof boots, they're pretty taken aback. And I was too at first, because they're so sleek.

I never felt stylish in my “regular” winter boots. Now, whenever I go out on a winter evening or even take a walk into the city during the cold months, I feel like a Million bucks!

Don't get me wrong, I have some amazing Canadian winter boots, but none of them are appropriate to pair with a classy outfit, fit for a stylish soirée.

And when you're wearing fabulously crafted luxury items such as this wool camel coat from Toronto-based Davis Project & striped cashmere sweater from The Kooples, well, you can't just wear any old winter shoes, now can you?!

They have to be stylish winter boots 😉 These also make perfect boots to commute into work & not need to change shoes when you get there!

Needless to say, this is a definite go-to favorite winter boot of mine that shields me from snow, ice & rain, like no other winter shoe of its kind! Take a look at some of my other recommended EMU Austria boots from their current collection.

They also have lovely waterproof sheepskin boots for children. My son is living in his EMUs this winter too! Have you seen the new EMU Australia shoes for Spring 2017!?

Hi, these boots look very chic, and so do you! My question is - are they breathable, and if not - don't your feet get all sweaty when wearing them for too long or indoors? Thanks for the review though - your style is great

Hi Stella. The great thing about leather & sheepskin is that your feet stay warm and dry and the lining in these is just enough that my feet don't overhead indoors. Gotta love natural materials:)

Belli e perfetti nel tuo casual outfit. A me piacciono molto. Ne ho un paio simili di un altro brand e li uso tantissimo!!! Un bacio e grazie per la tua visita, Eni

I hadn't thought about it that way, but that's an excellent criterion for judging the warmth of a boot: how long it takes your toes to get cold.

Added criteria: hold long it takes toes to get cold while walking and separately by standing still! Heehee xo Cristina
