One shoe trend that’s going to be really difficult to ignore this Spring/Summer is the nude, blush or almost white tones that are being paired in stark contrast to a can’t-get-any-more-dark-than-this, black. Reminiscent of Chanel chich (which I never disguise my delight for!), everyone who makes shoes this season seems to be partaking in it: from high-end classic & avant-garde shoe designers such as Kirkwood & Louboutin, to high street brands of the likes of Zara, to quirky Kate Spade & Parisian arty Isabel Marant. And one can’t even narrow to trend to a shoe-type; boots, flats, oxfords, stilettos, pumps, t-straps & almost all shoe forms have appropriated this two-tone neutral aesthetic.

Pretty & dare I say almost classic, no trend has ever been this safe, yet so fabulous! So even if you go splurging on some designer neutral + black heels or flats, the $$$ spent may be well worth it, as until Chanel goes out of style (and mark my words: it will NEVER!) neither will these shoes!
