The Elbaz Shoes ‘n bits for H&M: Lanvin, of course!
Colourful Lanvin for H&M Shoes - $99
So the pics for the very pricey Lanvin/H&M collaboration have just been released. The colours & forms are fantastic, the shoes are awfully cute, but the fabrics and materials–very à la H&M–are looking a little cheap-o. And if I can detect this via the professional photography, I’m unsure whether a tediously long lineup is worth it. Or maybe I’m just attempting to brainwash myself into saving the scraps left in my wallet? Hmm…perhaps

I do, however, need the fabulous red necklace & funny little leggy, tutu-necked t-shirt dress (although I’m also thinking of becoming heavily “inspired” by this creation and designing one myself. I do design shoe-tees, after all!). As for the shoes, I may *gasp* pass on these. The vamp is a little high for my taste (I find my toes deserve their fair share of cleavage!) and my very sensitive shoe-sense is, well, sensing a high level of ouch-factor. But then again, don’t knock ‘em ’till you try ‘em, right?

I agree, they do look a bit cheap. Buuuuuut, I think i’ll try my hand at those animal print pumps. I’m sure they’re on lots of fashion lover’s radars

They are a little too pointy for me but cute colors and fabrics! My preferences are the leopard and the red. The top ones with the green uhhh not so much :/

I’m an open toe kinda gal so I’d pass on the shoes. I think the tutu tee is too cute. I’d wear that all day long, great conversation starter type of garment, I’m all for that.
We don’t have an H & M here but I hear they have some cute items at good prices from my daughter in Atlanta but I’d have to see for myself. She & I have a different idea sometimes on what’s cute.

I’m actually really feeling the colourful pumps.. not sure if i’m ready to wait in line for them overnight but if someone else is willing to grab me a pair of 37.5, I’m game

I’m not particularly fond of the first pair of shoes, but I REALLY like that red necklace and the shirt-dress. And love the rest of the shoes as well, especially the print shoes.

I must say it’s not love and I agree that the shoes look a bit cheap… I’m not going to camp outsite on the big reveal day but I’d like to see them in person xoxo

Seems like all of us shoelovers are pretty much on the same page regarding this collection! I’d have probably paid even 50% extra for more ‘solid’ looking shoes. Great designs, however
